Prinsera started as a simple school project. As I entered my senior year in college, I was given the task to create whatever I wanted—and design however I wanted—for whomever she wanted. Thus spawned the idea for a new contemporary label with roots in the south, where I grew up. Focusing on a younger customer than other traditional brands, the sense of color, detail, and my own designed print & pattern came together for a youthful and fun capsule collection. This capsule collection took inspiration from stained glass motifs from southern 60’s architecture and focused on personal techniques (hand-dyeing, designing own textile design, lasercutting leather) to make the collection extremely personal from the beginning. Shown are images from my process book, my full lineup, the original print/pattern that I drew, and some photographs of the final product.
